The sulfonic acid plant was completed in 2018 with an annual capacity of 12,000 metric tons. It reacts alkylbenzenes, fatty alcohols or long-chain alkylbenzenes with sulfur trioxide to produce alkylbenzene sulfonic acid, dodecyl sulfate or high-carbon alkylbenzene sulfonic acid, which are mainly supplied to domestic and foreign customers as raw materials for manufacturing detergents such as laundry detergent or oil injection agents.
